    Our classroom contains people from many different races, creeds, and ethnical origins. We find strength in diversity, because we can complement each other and bring the benefit of new ideas and perspectives to the class environment. This class is open to learning everything we can about everyone else. If you wish to share your perspective and values during a particular topic, please raise your hand during class.

 

We must respect each other, regardless of any differences between us.

 

 Our study of chemistry will show the rich history of the science and the contributions of many individuals from varying backgrounds. As scientists, we judge the data and the conclusions, but not the person making them.  Scientific research embraces a diverse, tolerant workplace.
